Wishing Wells have been around as long as there have been puddles to drop lucky pieces into.   The dictionary defines the word “Well” as a hole, an apparent reservoir, or a source.  With this spell, you will create a “reservoir” or “source” of magic wishes to call upon when you need something special in your life.

You’ll need a large, fire-safe bowl.  Any bowl will do, no matter the material it’s made of.  As long as it won’t melt or burn.

Drip a few drops of different colored candle wax into the bottom of the bowl.  Be sure to use a lot of different colors to symbolize your diverse needs and goals that will come up throughout your life.

Now, slightly melt the end of a pure, white candle, just enough to make it sticky, and adhere it to the puddle of multicolored wax.  The white candle will bind all of the other candle colors together in harmony.

Each morning, light the candle when you get up and put a coin in the bowl while making your wish for the day.  Your wish can be anything, from more money, to a new lover, to a happy day.  You can even wish for a new pony if you want!

Then, just blow out the candle before you leave the house.

Whenever you desperately need to have a wish granted, remove a coin from the bowl and plant it in rich soil.  You can plant it in your flower bed outside or even in one of your houseplants.  If you have no place to plant it, throw it into moving water (toss it over the bridge on your way to work, if necessary) so your message will be carried into the earth.

You’ll be placing a coin into the bowl every day,  but only remove a coin and bury it if you have a wish that needs to be granted that day.  In this way, you’ll be growing a “Well of Wishes”.

Since you won’t be removing a coin every day, eventually the bowl will fill up.  When that happens, remove some of the coins and use them for good deeds – like wishing for food for a homeless person or healing for someone who is sick.  Always leave a few “seed” coins in the bowl, though, to keep your Wishing Well growing.

Candle Magic for Beginners: The Simplest Magic You Can Do

And, just as with love spells, using candle magic spells is so easy, anyone can do it!

Basically, all you will need is a white cloth or doilie and a green candle.  However, including items around your candle that help you focus on money will help increase the power of the magic.

Some things you could include:

• A piggy bank
• Some Monopoly money
• A lucky coin, if you have one
• A bank deposit slip
• Coins from your coin collection

• Anything you have that makes YOU think of money

Place the green candle in a glass candle holder and place it on the white cloth or doilie and scatter your “money items” around the cloth near the candle.

While setting up your candle, concentrate on the image of money flowing to YOU, with images of coins and dollars falling from the sky and coming toward you from all directions.  Cup your hands around the candle flame and feel it’s warmth and attraction as you continue to concentrate and focus on images of money.

Then just let the candle burn down naturally and know that your financial worries will soon be over.

Some love spells are quite complicated, requiring you to get hair or nail clippings from your intended lover and combine them with eye of newt and wing of bat, all while standing naked under a full moon in the middle of a cemetery.

Not so with candle magic.  It can be as complicated….or as SIMPLE…as you want to make it.  And it works!  Sometimes, even better!

The simplest of candle spells for attracting love requires only a piece of white paper, a white cloth or doilie,  and a candle – either a pink candle for romance, affection and long-lasting love,  or a red candle for passionate, more physical “really hot times!”  The candle should be placed in a  glass glass candle holder for safety.

It is not necessary, but if you are able to obtain a personal article from your love interest, so much the better.  A photograph, lock or strand of hair, used article of clothing, etc., will help focus your concentration and the power of the candle.

Place the candle on the cloth or doilie and if you were able to come up with something personal from your intended, place that on the cloth near the candle as well.

Write the full name (if known) and birth date (if known) of your love interest on the white piece of paper and place the paper under the glass holding the candle.

Light your candle, while concentrating on the person you desire.  Know in your heart, as you light the candle, that the spell will have it’s desired effect.  Let the candle continue to burn and when it’s burned all the way down, the spell is complete.

Note that it is never a good idea to try to force someone, against their will, to love you.  But if you’re sure that all this person needs is a little “nudge” to become your forever soul mate, then rest assured, this spell will do the trick!
