No, of course not.
How can saying words or lighting candles cause an impossible event to occur? Magic does not exist.
Wishing doesn’t help either. Think about all of the millions of people that have suffered terribly. I’m sure they wished harder than you or I ever have. It didn’t help them.

Let’s put it this way: the JREF has $1,000,000 for anybody who can show that “magic” is real.
Nobody has ever claimed it.

Define “real magic”. If it’s something too subjective to lend itself to external verification, and you get the results you want, then who cares?

Some magic works. You have to be intune with your spiritual nature and it isnt liek what your thinking. Its more or less willing the elements to do good for you and it is nothing above average.

magic deals with perception.
sometimes it makes use of proto-sciences, (chemistry, psychology) in the use of herbs, chants, or talismans. memory tricks, confidence tricks. things like that.
there is some legitimacy to it, but its nothing like what you see in the movies. for instance, its more like… if i forget where i put something, it has disappeared.

Yes, but probably not like you think it does… not like fiction.
Herbs have energies from the earth we can draw on.
Chants are simply a way to focus on your intent and raise energy. Saying a rhyme doesn’t make things happen.
White/gray/black magic is just misconceptions… fact is magic is neutral; it’s energy. It takes the same energy to heal as it does to curse. Like a knife can be used for survival or for murder, doesn’t make knives “good” or “evil,” they are just knives. Magic is just magic, a tool.
Love spells are unethical first of all, like slipping a date rape drug in someone’s drink. It also never works, it can’t make you actually get along better, it can only make the target feel obsessive love, and eventually they begin to resent those feelings, it’s common for them to become verbally or even physically abusive and cheat because, even though they can’t break from you, they can’t figure out why and don’t really like you any better… and then when you realize they are not the person you thought they were and you are both miserable and want to break up, it ends up being long drawn-out messy breakup w/lots of baggage.
Everyone can learn to use magic, but it’s not the easy road and there is no instant gratification. It starts with a few months of serious study & mental discipline (via meditation) to lay the groundwork.
