This works really well on carpet and it should work on clothes too:
On top of the clothes, put a piece of tissue paper (no color or patterns , use the one for cleaning in the kitchen). Then set your iron at the lowest temperature and put on top of it. once the was is melted, it will be absorbed into the paper. You may need to repeat this several times though.

Freeze the fabric or put an ice cube wrapped in cloth over the wax. You should be able to lift off the wax.

Put them in the freezer. When the wax gets cold, it gets brittle & will come off.

Make sure of the wax is gone, Take two pieces of Paper towel Put one on the bottom of the stain and one on the top of the stain, Not heat your iron until it is warm NOT Hot, and iron over the spot this will remove all the wax residue. Not Take your detergent and use a little full strength onto the stain that’s left. and scrub. Then you can add it to your wash and that should do it, If not then get Dry cleaning Solvent, or a prewash and use them.

Use wax remover, they sell it in fabric stores.
