My friend is very into magic spells and things like that, I must admit that I myself am called by such things but never actually dealt with any spells, all I’ve done is have someone read the tarot cards for me everytime I am in a certain situation, (I don’t believe in the future being written, but through the cards I can see what decision to take in order to change the possible outcomes ahead.)
I’m not obsessed with the divination method either, I am just saying what I’ve done. But my friend does things like for example:
In order to attract her ex partner back she goes to a …”botanica” (I don’t know how to translate that into English, or if it’s also called like that in English as well). Basically it’s a store where you can find anything dealing with magic and even religion. She buys a certain type of candles, some oils that are supposed to be put into the candle work and each oil has specific goal like “think of me”, “desire me”, “be desperate for me”, “come to me”…etc… those are all mixed in together into the candle along with the name of the person she wants..
I’m sorry for describing the ritual I just want to be clearly understood. To some people it may sound fake but I’ve seen it work (really!), 4 days into the candle being lit on he comes to her, wanting to be with her etc.
She says it’s not bad because she’s just using a way to bring the person she wants and that after that she’ll try to keep him with her by her own actions.
In other words she uses magic (candle spells) to bring him back, then once he’s with her she stops the candle work and use candles only if she feels like things are getting cold between them, like to make things much more passionate between them after a while of being together.
My question is, is it really okay (IN YOUR OPINION), When I think about it I say she’s not causing any harm to him if she does it out of wanting to be with him, and plus, he gets to be with her and enjoy what she gives him (love, care, etc.) She doesn’t do it as a way to harm him or to reject him once she has him wanting her…I guess “it’s all fair in love and war”?
Or do you see things differently?

Real magic is magic that is not real (miracles, spells, voodoos, etc.).
Unreal magic is magic that is real (magician tricks).
Ask your mate why she hasn’t made a magical spell to win the lottery.
I have tried to put a spell on Goldman Sachs stocks but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m thinking I might need to replace the earwax from a deaf duck with something more powerful.
The essence of magic spells is to focus the will of the person doing them. Magic is basically a mental process, a point of view, or as my high priest late husband used to say, a vocabulary which extends well beyond language.
What it is not is an ability to change or defy the laws of Nature. A witch works with Mother Nature, not against her. As you pointed out with Tarot, it gives you the opportunity to explore the possibilities.
“Magic spells” can only bring demons. So avoid it.
Demons always mean harm, destruction, and death to people. And only JESUS can stop demons and drive away demons. You need to believe in Jesus for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, and call on the Name of Jesus for help RIGHT NOW!
And you also need to believe in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, so that you will be in heaven and not in hell!
The truth about death is that death brings immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether you believed in JESUS for His free gift of salvation, or not.
Heaven is eternal joy with the Lord!
The lake of fire is eternal separation from God, eternal torment, and eternal corruption. Nobody. Nobody has to be sent there.
So to be in heaven and not in hell, believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation RIGHT NOW!
Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much!
And the Trinity is true!
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in JESUS for His free gift of eternal life in heaven, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! It is impossible to lose or “leave” salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: “Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!” You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!
Regardless of my religious beliefs, which tell me that practicing magic and witchcraft is an abomination to God and one of the worst sins, I think that using any means to get someone to stay with you when its obvious that without that intervention they wouldn’t be there is wrong. Why would you want that anyway? I’d rather have someone choose to love me out of his own free will than because of some sort of “magic”. And if she truly loved him she would let him go if thats what would make him happy.
If after several weeks she needs to “burn candles” again to stop things getting cold between them what kind of a relationship is that? There is no truth or real love in it. It sounds to me like your friend just has a few problems letting him go – she needs to realise that his happiness is an issue to – not only her own which is selfish in itself and very self-destructive in the long run.
Love spells are fine, she need to resist the temptation of controlling him with it.
To control anther with magic is unethical. Once he is attracted to her, she need to stop.
