I've done a spell once before to get rid of what I felt like was a curse placed on my family. It involved just a simple black bowl, a black taper candle and water to the brim. Mediating on what I wanted and imagining all of that melting away with the wax and being burned by the flame. And after the fire was extinguished by the water I removed the candle from the bowl and buried it in the backyard. Looking back it seems like I put out all the good things too.

Candle Magic, Started Fire-omen?

I was doing a spell about someone, and the flame jumped SEVERAL feet, and caught that persons pillow on fire a bit.
Is that a good omen, or bad one?
(More info: The person's pillow was freshly washed, and wet, and air drying. It was literally several, several feet away. The candle was small, and had not been knocked about..it was very contained.)...

Candle Magic Anyone? Please Help!?

I burned one glass-encased candle(half red and half blk) to get rid of bad habits and one white glass-encased candle for protection and healing.
The white one went out by itself within fifteen minutes of me
lighting it.Then the red/blk candle went out too just thirty minutes later.
What does this mean? Is there anything I can do to help this
situation?

Candle-reading And Magic Spells — What Do These Outcomes Mean?

I have a couple questions about omens in candle burning during the casting of spells. I know there are people who don't believe in magic or omens, but for those that do believe or at least have some knowledge of the matters:
On a glass encased candle, what does it mean when you end up with lines of wax and herbs left on the glass after the candle has burned out? They aren't in complete rings, but in half or quarter circles.
