I am working on a story about a woman who uses "magic" to help people but doesn't call it that- folk magic and family traditions and so forth. I guess this would include things like use of tea, candle lighting perhaps, music, animal "whispering" and I'm not sure what else. any advice or rescources would help. When I say witchcraft I don't mean turn me into a cat magic. I'm talking about the use of black/white magic. My mom has a uncle back in her home country who practices white magic.
