Please quote scriptures that say that.
No one is to cast spells or use Magic.
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
a enchanter is one who wispers or cast spells which includes lighting candles and using objects to cast spells.
John 3:16-18
Romans 10:9-10

Black magic and witchcraft are the tools of satan. They prohibit personal development and the nourishing of the spirit.
Witchcraft calls upon rampant ghouls and demons to serve imbeciles and ultimately ends badly. I do not know of any successful witched who are not soon undone by the demons they rouse. Selah.

Herbal remedies are one thing; witchcraft is another. The difference is not in what is being used, but the attitude. If I take an herbal remedy and pray to God, it’s not witchcraft, but if I call on “the universe” or “the goddess” or something, or put some kind of power in ritual other than prayer, then I’m crossing into another territory.
In fact, the Bible directly says to anoint with oil. But… pray to God.

I use herbs, incense and oils all the time, but I am a Witch.
I do, however, know many people who are Christians and other denominations for that matter who also use herbs, incense and oils.

candels, herbs, and iol in themselves are not harmful, but is the spirit that we use them in that is to be considered. people that practice withcraft use these same arcticles, they also have a wrong spirit about them.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14, with its outright condemnation of magic, divination, and necromancy,
Because it is faith in what? If it would work u should know why or ask the question as who empowers this’?

I don’t think it’s the candles and herbs that make it “witchcraft”. It’s the worship of anything other than the Christian God.
